Privacy

Colorverse Books is a parent-led service. We process a parent’s account identifier and linked authentication provider, project settings, support messages, and purchase status to operate the service.

Family creative data

Reference photos and uploads, libraries, prompts, story plans, generated coloring and story assets, thumbnails, audio, exports, invitations, RSVP records, and SpeakToDraw speech converted to text are private account data. We do not sell family photos or children’s creative data.

Service providers and storage

Firebase Authentication verifies accounts. Google Cloud stores and processes private projects, uploads, jobs, and files, and Google Gemini may analyze approved references to guide likeness. OpenAI processes prompts and approved references for production creative generation. Payment providers process checkout and transaction records.

Retention and deletion

After an authenticated deletion request is accepted, active Colorverse and Firebase data is deleted within 30 days. Logs and backups are isolated from active use after deletion. Colorverse policy limits operational logs to 30 days and Cloud backups to 35 days, with verification before each compliance release. A minimal non-personal tombstone expires after 90 days.

Legally required payment and tax records may remain for up to 7 years, access-restricted and stripped of creative content. Independent shared copies remain with the other family member, but the deleted owner’s identity and ownership link are removed.

If an Apple token is unavailable, Colorverse and Firebase deletion still proceeds on schedule and support provides manual Apple revocation guidance. Local artwork is cleared by the app after acceptance; device backups follow Apple platform settings.
